Itoba Amazing Grace (BISS Ch. Cascade's Bold 'N Carefree, CD CGC ex Ch. Itoba Heart of America) "Grace" ![]()
"Gee,
we haven't communicated in a very long time. Guess life does get
busy!! Updating you on "Grace" was one of my 2007, resolutions. She is
doing great!! She is a quick learner and very competitive. We think
she's absolutely awesome. In our household, "Grace" really strives to be top dog. "Rowdy", our English Pointer, is better than 2Xs her size, but somehow she always finds a way to get the ball from him, tease him by saving her food till the last or literally run circles around him. They are an amazing pair to watch and if separated for any length of time.. each experiences depression. It was especially hard on "Grace" when "Rowdy" was field trialing and gone for several months. "Grace" is just plain fun for us. She also travels very well. In fact, she really gets excited when she sees we are pulling out our suitcases!! We went on one vacation without our dogs and vowed never again. I think "Grace's" favorite place to vacation is on Beaver Island. She loves to run the beach with us and play in the water. When it comes to chasing a ball or going for a walk/run .. she is tireless. She's a great companion, playful puppy and always happy and affectionate. You could not have made a better match for us. We love her so much!!! Thank you and Happy New Year 2007!!" Owner - Marilynn A littermate to

" I have always loved the photo of Jerid with
"Chloe". I was thinking about them last night and a got
teary-eyed. He called her "Chlo-weiner" for some reason
and they were inseparable. Chloe even knew when it was
time for him to come home from school and would sit by the door waiting.
When I groomed her, Jerid would ask me not to cut the hair on her head
because he would put butch wax in it like he did his own. He would
then comb it up into a flat top like his hair. After she died,
I found a book he had written about her with drawings of the two of
them. The writings expressed how much he loved and missed her.
It sure was a great love between them." |

Itoba Tiger Paws (Ch. Itoba Whaddya Know ex Daisymead's Heart of Gold) "Toby" All dog lovers will agree that dogs give us so much and only ask for our love in return. When we continue to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, often times the day of separation becomes more than we can bear. In the following letter, "Toby's" owner writes of the love she had for her wonderful companion. Toby was diagnosed with lymphoma and is greatly missed by Mary. - Joyce "Toby" was put to rest this morning. His passing was gentle and easy. He suddenly got sick the night before. I don't think he ever had much pain - at least he didn't appear to. Thank you for my remarkable "Toby". Everyone loved him and he loved everybody. He was uncommonly beautiful, cheerful and loyal. How I loved "Toby"!" - Signed, Mary Jordan
Mary contacted me for another companion after Toby's passing and she now owns Daisymead's Take A Chance. Here's what she has to say about "Charlie". "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! He is the most
splendid puppy--so |

Itoba Lucky Charm (Ch. Daisymead's Power Play ex Itoba Purplehart Easy Lover) "Charm" ![]() "Charm" is adjusting to her new home just fine. She sleeps through the night, and is a wild woman when she wakes up! I took her to school on "Take Your Child To Work Day" and the children adored her. A couple of them laid on the floor so she would have something to play with. She fit right in!! I have bought her a lot of new toys but, she prefers to play with the cardboard tube from the roll of paper towels. We just adore her." Owner - Debbie |

Itoba Accidentally In Love "Guppy" (Ch. Itoba Purplehart Easy Street ex Itoba Daisymead Irresistible) ![]() "I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to meet Guppy today. She was fabulous and I'm sooooo excited to be bringing her home soon! I think we'll make a great match and feel lucky to have found the two of you. I wanted to thank you again for letting me get situated with my work/housing plans before taking Guppy. I was sad not to take her home today, but I know it's better for her to join me after graduation when I am more settled. I really appreciate your help in the meantime. Please keep me posted with any Guppy updates. I have attached two of the pictures we took today. Once again, it was great to meet you. Give Guppy a big hug and kiss from me!" - Owner - Olivia |

Itoba Purplehart Mrs. Pankhurst (Vandee Royale Hard Day's Knight ex Ch. Itoba Purplehart Abracadabra) "Emmeline" ![]() "She's adorable and such a cuddle puppy that she's always attached to some part of my body. There's just one problem.....she thinks she's a cat. Yes, she's being raised by two cats, but I thought it would occur to her a some point that they are the "other", but no. There's a big, old wooden apple crate of pet toys in my study, and she always pulls out the cat toys. She sleeps curled up on my head in bed and on my shoulder in my arm chair. Maybe it's because she's such a little Spaniel? When she and Tisbury chase each other, she jumps from couch to chair to chair to couch, just as he does. Yesterday I found her in the middle of the dining room table, where the cats have their morning naps. She had evidently decided to join them. She seemed unimpressed by my objections. When she flops on her back to have her tummy rubbed, she makes a very soft growling sound in the back of her throat like she's trying to purr. She has also started having cat fits -- she just can't manage the broken-tailed run since her own is docked. What a sweet and funny spirit she is to live with. She is pictured here on her very first Christmas. For other pictures of Emmeline, please click here to visit her website." http://www.geneseo.edu/~walker/jwpets.html - Owner - Julia A littermate to "Petie" below. |

Itoba Purplehart Heir to the Throne (Vandee Royale Hard Day's Knight ex Ch. Itoba Purplehart Abracadabra) "Petie" ![]() Just wanted to drop you a line. I have kept "Petie's" name as "Petie". Isn't that funny? I went a whole week thinking about names and actually picking a new name, but every time I went to call her another name, "Petie" came out. "Petie" is doing great. She already rules the roost with "Bandit". "Bandit" has excepted her pretty well considering the shock he got after being the only dog. She has been a little slow on the potty training, but I think she's figuring it out. She has been out and about to many activities and visited with a lot of people and canines. Everyone thinks that she is adorable. I have never seen a puppy with the scope she has. She is afraid of nothing. If she is unsure of things she always goes and investigates, but never really backs away from fear. I wanted to send you a picture of the three of us and thank you for making "Petie" a part of my life. Thank you!!!" - Owner - Ginnie Hart
