CH Itoba Rock 'N Roll Legend "Elvis" ![]() ("Elvis" is pictured on the right and CH Absolute's Driving Miss Hanson on the left.) "Elvis", as he is fondly called, is our main man and he knows it. He was a gift from Joyce Winkels and her sister, Jean Hanle. When they heard I was looking to get back into dogs and show, it was decided "Elvis" would be the perfect dog for me. When he stepped out of the crate, I was thrilled. A beautiful, confident and wee bit conceited little dog that stole my heart in less than a moment. The Itoba Poms are a joint venture of two very knowledgeable ladies with years of breeding and showing behind them. Their gift to me made my life exciting and has given me a new goal." Itoba Purplehart End Zone (BIS/BISS Ch. Daisymead's Playboy, ECM ex Ch. Daisymead Itoba True Love) "Oakie" "Oakland Raider Davis"
"Oakie" is the doggie love of my life. Not only is he beautiful,
but his personality is so wonderful that it’s hard to put it into
words. One thing for certain.... he is a total clown. He
loves to roll on his back and balance his toys with his paws as well as
sunbathing in the morning. He
does sommersaults and we swear he could be a contortionist.
His nickname is "Squishy" because it’s as if his body is all mush and no
bones. Another favorite thing he loves to do is to hide underneath
clothes or covers and pretend you can’t see him. We call out to
him, “where’s Oakie?!!”, and he gets real still & quiet. Then we
catch him peeking out to see if we are looking. When we say
“there’s Oakie!”, he comes running to us for kisses. He smiles
more than any dog I’ve ever seen. He’s always so happy except, of
course, when he’s on my lap and one of his brothers tries to snuggle in.
He’s definitely a momma's boy. He’s our middle “child” and our other
two dogs, "Howie" an ECS, and "Scruffy" a Miniature Schnauzer, each vie for
his attention and of course, "Oakie" being the sweetheart he is,
tries to accommodate them. It must be hard being everybody’s favorite,
but somebody's got to do it. I know you’re not supposed to have
favorites but, never in my life have I ever loved a dog more! Thank you
Joyce, for giving us such a blessing in our life - our little "Oakie"."

Itoba Purplehart Endearing, CGC TDI-A (BIS BISS Ch. Daisymead's Playboy, ECM ex CH Itoba Daisymead True Love) "Megan"
Itoba Southern Comfort (Ch. Daisymead's Born In The USA, ECM ex Ch. Itoba Heart's Desire) "Howie" ![]() Howie “Long Ears" Davis (we’re huge Oakland Raider fans)
"Howie" is, in
one word, “deep”. He is so in tune with our emotions that
all I have to do is sniffle and he’s in my lap trying to lick away
tears. He’s so intelligent that we sometimes think he’s been sent here
by a higher life form to study us. No dog can really be that smart
or can they?! If we hide a toy anywhere in the house he’ll find
it. We have never been able to stump him. In spite of his
intensity, he does have a comical side. He’ll do, what we
call, a “fruit loop”. This is where he’ll put the side of his head
on the floor and his butt high in the air and growls asking us to play
with him. He’s also the funniest sleeper I’ve ever seen.
He lays on his back with his front paws stretched above his head and his
rear legs are stretched all the way out. I swear he looks 6
feet long! I pack bones with treats and he uses the tile floor as
a tool to get the crumbs out by dropping the bone on the tile, picking
it up and dropping it again and again. He definitely fits the
"move-the-fridge-for-a-crumb" profile. Talk about food motivated!
"Howie" has a beautiful smile, a black coat of velvet, eyelashes to die
for (why do boys always get the long eyelashes?!) and we love him more
than words can say. Joyce, we are so grateful for the wonderful ECS’s
you breed, thanks to you we have so much joy in our life." Owner -

Itoba Purplehart Gone Fishin' (Ch. Eglesfeld Maynard G. Krebs ex Ch. Itoba Purplehart Abracadabra "Roscoe" ![]() "Just wanted you both to know that "Roscoe" (previously known as Blueboy) is doing great. He's been sleeping in his crate at night without whimpering, has a healthy appetite, and his tail is going a hundred miles an hour most of the time. He also seems to be very comfortable with his new surroundings. His first vet visit went very well--our vet has an ECS of his own, and he spent almost 40 minutes just talking to us about the breed and visiting with "Roscoe". Thanks SO MUCH for all of your help!" - Greg Smith A littermate to Ch. Itoba Purplehart Girl Power. |

Itoba New Orleans (Ch. Daisymead's Power Play ex Itoba Purplehart Easy Lover) "Bean" "Hello from Minneapolis! We want you to know that "Bean" is a happy birthday dog today. All is going well. He is happy, healthy and full of personality. Our Sheltie is still the boss, but "Bean" pushes her around quite a bit - all in fun. They wrestle and play all day. He likes his toys, to play fetch and especially - his boy, Tony. We did basic dog training at Petsmart, and he is good at sitting, laying down, waiting, leaving it and coming (when HE thinks it is a good idea). He is happy to meet new people and is enthusiatic about everything. His tail never stops wagging. Thank you for choosing him for us. We love him." "What
a wonderful gift "Higgins" is for us!!! On this,
his first birthday, which we will celebrate, we want
to thank you for breeding such wonderful dogs. We
have enjoyed having him as part of our family, even
when he has his naughty streaks, like chewing up all
of his toys, pulling things off of the tables and
running, and trying to chew up his comfortable bed.
(We have a Toughchew bed from Orvis. He can't seem
to quite make a tear in it. He does try.)
I still have pictures here to send you, but have yet
to get pictures, envelope and stamps together all at
once. My mind seems to need to be thinking of it,
too. "Higgins" sends his teenage kisses and
hugs to you. He still is a real loving dog and
loves anyone who will pay attention to him. My best
wishes to you for a successful show season."
